St. Lucy's Music Ministry

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth..." Psalms 98:4

It was once said that "music is the prayer of the soul." At St. Lucy's, as well as throughout the entire Catholic Community, much of the community's faith and love of the Lord is expressed through liturgical music. St. Lucy's Music Ministry welcomes all who desire to praise the Lord through song. New members of all backgrounds and abilities are always welcome to join us in creating joyous, praise-filled music! Any questions can be directed to Jillian Rojek, Director of Music.

Cantors
St. Lucy's Cantors lead the assembly in sung worship during all weekend liturgies. Come share your talents and praise the Lord!

Adult Choir
St. Lucy's Adult Choir enhances liturgies through song and supports congregational singing. The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings and sings at Mass for all major feasts and Holy Days. We are always ready to add more voices to our choir, so if the Spirit moves you to "make music unto the Lord", come join us!

Children's Choir
St. Lucy's Children's Choir is a vocal ensemble comprised of girls and boys in grades 3 and up. Choristers are instructed not only in singing the music, but expressing the music through our faith. The choir sings at celebrations including the Feast of St. Lucy, Christmas Eve, and Easter Sunday. New members are always welcome!

Instrumentalists
Anyone interested in playing at Mass must first audition for the Director of Music. Please contact Jillian Rojek so arrangements can be made.
