| Fr. Marek Wasliewski, M. Id., a native of Poland, will be the celebrant at St. Lucy's Parish on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 12, 2015, from 12 Noon-3:00 P.M.
Ordained onMay 25, 2013, by the Most Rev. Timothy M. Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York.
Fr. Marek earned his BA in Philosophy at Baruch College at City University of New York. In 2009 he earned his Master's in Philosophy from the City University Graduate Center in New York. He also earned his Masters of Divinity and Bachelor of Sacred Theology from St. Joseph's Seminary and College in Yonkers, N.Y.
He formerly held teaching positions as an Adjunct Lecturer in Philosophy at Hunter College, CUNY,N.Y., St. Francis College, Brooklyn College, CUNY, Brooklyn, N.Y.
His Ministry experience includes DRE at Santa Maria Parish, Bronx, N.Y., Middle School Parish catechist, and Youth Minister at Santa Maria Parish and Our Lady of Solace Parish. He presently is an Adjunct Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Scranton, and Parochial Vicar at St. Rose of Lima Parish and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Carbondale, Pa.
St. Lucy's Parish welcomes him for our Divine Mercy Devotion.
